Thunderbirds and Blue Angels Flyover City List

The military has officially announced the first four cities where the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and U.S. Navy Blue Angels will perform flyovers as part of Operation America Strong.  Cities with times and dates in BOLD have been officially announced.  Additional cities on the list below are unofficial and come from an article published by the Washington Post on April 22nd and a follow up article by USA Today on April 24th.  The schedule is subject to change and additional cities could be added.

The Thunderbirds and Blue Angels flyover of these cities is a collaborative salute from the Navy and Air Force to recognize healthcare workers, first responders, and other essential personnel while standing in solidarity with all Americans during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Residents in these areas will be able to see the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels flyover from the safety of their home-quarantine and should maintain all social distancing guidelines during these events. They should also refrain from traveling to landmarks, hospitals and gathering in large groups to view the flyovers.  Cities will be officially announced with a date and time 2-3 days in advance.  A detailed flight route will be released the day prior to each flyover and we will post it here on the @AirDotShow website.  To get notified immediately when more info becomes available Click Here to follow our Facebook page and be sure to select “See First” from the following tab.  To read the full press release from the Thunderbirds Click Here

Hi, GB The USA! Be nice to do West Palm Beach to Miami. 3 most populated counties in FL! Thanks for anything though.

Miami never has air and sea shells it’s Fort Lauderdale that puts those shows on why aren’t they flying over Fort Lauderdale in Broward county?

Hi Diana, when the flight path is announced for the Miami flyover of the US Navy Blue Angels, it will likely be visible from numerous parts of South Florida. Stay tuned! We will also be bringing the Fort Lauderdale Air Show back in the fall, so stay tuned on that announced date.
