Penn State Health’s Life Lion is an AirBus H155 emergency medical transport helicopter based at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. The fleet of four helicopters provides 24/7 air and ground critical care transport from bases in Hershey, Carlisle, and Lancaster. The service is integral to Penn State Health’s Level I trauma centers and supports a range of missions—from trauma response and neonatal care to organ transport and disaster deployments.
