Two French Air Force Rafales from the renowned Lafayette Squadron will perform an encore flyover of the National Mall in Washington, DC, on October 20th. This commemorative flyover marks the 200th anniversary of General Marquis de Lafayette’s Farewell Tour of America, symbolizing the lasting alliance between the two nations.

The flyover will feature the Rafales approaching from the east, executing a single pass from East to West just south of the National Mall. The flyover is scheduled to begin shortly after 1PM, subject to change for weather and air traffic conditions.  See the map below for the route of flight!
