Patrouille de France fly over New York City
The French Air Force Patrouille de France performed a flyover of New York City on March 25, 2017 just two days after arriving in North America for their 2017 U.S. Tour. The first pass southbound is over the Statue of Liberty. The second pass northbound passed by the World Trade Center. They came to America to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the United States entry into World War I.
Following the appearance in New York City the Patrouille de France headed to Washington DC for a flyover of The Mall. Unfortunately low cloud celings on the day of the flyover prohibited it from happening. The Patrouille de France then headed to Central Florida and performed there at the Space & Air Show one of the events on the #AirDotShowLive Tour. It was their first performance in the U.S. in over 31 years.
In all the Patrouille de France spent 6 weeks in U.S. displaying at three air shows and performing flyovers of over a dozen of our nation’s landmarks including Kennedy Space Center and the Golden Gate Bridge.
