  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of the coach while traveling.
  • Promptly communicate any mechanical, operational, or maintenance concerns.

Event Operations Support

  • Work alongside the Air Dot Show operations team during event week.
  • Participate in operational briefings and coordinate with the Site Manager or Operations Lead.
  • Assist with event setup, breakdown, transportation, and general site operations when not actively driving or managing the coach.
  • Help maintain the coach as an organized and functional operational space throughout the event.
  • Perform additional event duties as reasonably assigned to support successful show execution.

Safety and Professional Conduct

  • Operate the coach safely and responsibly at all times.
  • Follow all applicable traffic laws, vehicle restrictions, site rules, and Air Dot Show safety procedures.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while representing the Air Dot Show Tour.
  • Protect the coach, its equipment, and any materials transported aboard it.
  • Remain attentive to changing weather, traffic, road, and event-site conditions.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience driving a Newmar motor coach.
  • Experience driving a Newmar New Aire or comparable luxury Class A diesel motor coach preferred.
  • Familiarity with the SilverLeaf coach management and operating system.
  • Appropriate driver’s license and qualifications to legally operate the coach.
  • Clean driving record and demonstrated commitment to safe vehicle operation.
  • Knowledge of diesel motor coach systems, including air brakes, generators, electrical connections, water systems, leveling systems, and slide operation.
  • Ability to perform basic coach inspections and recognize potential mechanical or operating issues.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a fast-paced live event operations team.
  • Willingness to travel and work extended or irregular hours during event periods.
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in changing travel and event conditions.

Work Schedule

The Newmar RV Coach Driver will be engaged for select airfield-format destinations on the Air Dot Show Tour. The schedule will include travel days before and after each event, along with event-week responsibilities as part of the operations team.

Travel schedules will vary by destination and may include early-morning departures, extended driving days, overnight stops, and weekend work. Adequate travel time will be scheduled to support safe coach operation and timely arrival at each destination.
