Position Overview
As Merchandising Manager you will play a pivotal role in curating and managing a dynamic range of merchandise for the overall tour and our six event destinations in 2024. You’ll be responsible for creating a seamless and engaging merchandise experience spectators in person and our followers online.
Responsibilities

Merchandise Planning and Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive merchandise strategy aligned with the overall brand and goals of the Air Dot Show Tour.
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings, ensuring our merchandise remains innovative and appealing.

Product Selection and Design
- Collaborate with designers and vendors to create an exciting and diverse range of merchandise for the tour and each destination event, including apparel, accessories, collectibles, and more.
- Ensure all merchandise reflects the brand identity of the tour or its respective destination events and resonates with the target audience.

Inventory Management
- Oversee inventory levels, anticipating demand and adjusting orders accordingly.
- Implement efficient inventory tracking systems to minimize discrepancies and ensure accurate stock levels.

On-Site Merchandise Operations
- Coordinate the set-up and management of merchandise booths at each Air Dot Show Tour event.
- Train and manage on-site merchandise staff to deliver excellent customer service and optimize sales.

E-commerce and Sales Channels
- Manage the online merchandise store, optimizing the user experience and driving online sales.
- Explore and implement additional sales channels, partnerships, and collaborations to expand the reach of Air Dot Show Tour merchandise.

Promotions and Marketing
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns to drive merchandise sales.
- Leverage social media and other channels to create buzz around exclusive merchandise releases and special promotions.

Financial Management
- Develop and manage budgets for merchandise production, logistics, and on-site operations.
- Monitor sales performance and analyze data to make informed decisions for optimizing revenue.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in merchandising, preferably within the events or entertainment industry.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with vendors, partners, and on-site staff.
- Creativity and a keen eye for design trends.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online sales strategies.
- Ability to travel to various Air Dot Show Tour locations as needed.
